Super 8 by Wyndham Fort Chiswell/Wytheville Area

We only needed somewhere to sleep for a few hours, and this was perfect for us. Our dog came along, and the pet friendly room was very clean with no sign another pet had been there. Breakfast had a nice range of options, including waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, and a few smaller items.

Bo, the owner, is a sweetheart. My car's vacuum pump failed during the trip, and he happens to be a skilled mechanic. He helped us find the part and installed it so we could get back on the road. The people here do God's work. The hotel is right by a nice Flying J truck stop, with an Exxon within walking distance. Our room was beautiful, extremely clean, and well maintained. This is my new favorite hotel in Virginia. Highly recommend it, and I'll stay again.

We stopped briefly to sleep. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was the usual hotel spread of eggs, sausage, gravy, and biscuits. The night person was really welcoming and friendly.

It's a typical older motel, and places this old can look dirty inside, but I thought it was pretty clean. The bed was comfortable, the linens were clean, and so were the towels. For a quick overnight stop while driving, it was great value.
