I've recently retired, and in 2025 I stayed at Comfort Inn 54 times at locations around Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, and California. The Fort Collins North location met my expectations, and I came away with a lot of respect for its manager. I saw him mop, clean, and work alongside his staff like a real team. The way he managed them brought to mind something many leaders forget: treat employees with dignity and respect, and they'll make a business shine. I pay close attention to how managers treat their staff. I stay at Comfort Inn when I travel because the properties are nice, the prices reasonable, and the staff happy. Thank you, Comfort Inn.

The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The hot breakfast items were stone cold, but we think the person working on Thanksgiving wasn't the regular breakfast staff, so that may not be the usual service. As far as we could tell, he was covering every position and doing his best, with a smile.

Breakfast runs out quickly, so get down there before 7:30. The guy working breakfast didn't seem to want to restock. In room 221, the heater made a lot of noise every ten minutes, the cable was out, and the shower didn't work. We called the front desk about the cable and they said they might get to it tomorrow, but it still didn't work the next day. I thought I was getting a deal, but for the state of the property and its amenities, the rate was too high.

What we'll remember most is how the staff went out of their way to make us feel like family while we were away from home. The hotel was clean, with a nice pool and hot tub, a more than adequate room, and a delicious free breakfast. Whenever we need to stay in Fort Collins, we'll choose this place again because of the wonderful staff and customer service.

We arrived pretty late, and the staff greeted us with smiles and treated us well. They were helpful and got us checked in and out quickly. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was superb, and the 24-hour coffee was great. This is a good stop if you're passing through the area. I hope I have the same experience next time.
