Breakfast was the standout for us: hot, fresh, tasty, and lots to choose from, including biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, muffins, eggs, and sausage. The staff were cheerful and welcoming too, which made the stay feel even better. After years of traveling every summer, we hadn’t had a hotel experience this good in a while. The online check-in was easy, and paying ahead meant no long round of questions on arrival. There was plenty of room for our family of five, with a pull-out couch that was a nice extra. The kids liked the pool even though it was chilly, and the hot tub was popular, though it could use more jets and a little more heat. Five stars still doesn’t feel like enough. I’d recommend it.

The value is great, and I’ve stayed here several times. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the amenities are good, the location works well, and the staff are friendly. A few things could be better. They don’t seem to offer late checkout, even when the hotel is nearly empty. On my February visit the marketplace was totally bare, and the only vending machine takes cash. The elevator floor was pretty gross, though it was a very cold winter day, so I can understand how that happened.

Riley at the front desk was an absolute angel. They went out of their way to make my stay good, including helping sort out a faulty double booking. Riley definitely deserves a promotion.
