Sara Glen Motel

My son said the room was very clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed. If he drives through Saratoga Springs again, he plans to stay here. We’re very grateful for how the motel and staff looked after him during a stressful trip. His flight from Newark was cancelled while he was returning to university in Vermont after the holidays. He was left to make an unfamiliar drive late at night in near-blizzard conditions. He’d come from Australia, and it was his first time driving in the USA on the opposite side of the road. When he realized he’d arrive after reception closed, he called, worried he’d be locked out. The person on reception assured him someone would check him in and told him to take his time and drive carefully. That meant a lot. A special thank you to Sunny, who stayed up to welcome him at 2am and heated the room before he arrived. He was extremely stressed, and we were worried too, as we were on a flight back Australia. We really appreciate that care and hospitality, and highly recommend the motel.

The manager made us feel at ease right away with a warm welcome and attentive service. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed, and we especially liked the quality of the accommodations. The bathroom was also impressive, with modern fixtures and a walk-in shower that was a lovely touch. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a superior lodging experience.

The rooms were spotless, with comfortable beds and cable television, and the owner’s care made our late arrival easy. They stayed up to welcome us, offered us water, and checked that we had everything we needed. That hospitality stood out. I’d recommend the Sara Glen Motel to anyone staying around Lake George / Saratoga Springs.

The pool was so much fun, and I’ll definitely be back soon. Breakfast was delicious, the beds were really comfy, and the staff were friendly and polite. I love this place. Highly recommend it to everyone.
