We reserved a two-bedroom Villa months ahead for four nights, expecting an ocean-facing view and balcony access. At check-in, we learned the balcony was locked for maintenance and the second bedroom was only accessible through a locked shared hotel door, making it a one-bedroom suite. Guests should have been told at booking and offered a discount if they couldn't use all the space. Parking in the self-parking garage costs $39.00 per day, and there are long elevator waits with no luggage carts, valet, or bellman to help. Why charge guests when we have to do everything ourselves? I also called the front desk to ask about checking in two hours early. The young woman who answered refused to ask housekeeping whether a room might be ready. We know early check-in isn't guaranteed, but other hotels can make a quick radio call, and with check-out at 10 AM, noon seemed reasonable. As Marriott Bonvoy members who travel often, we weren't trying to take advantage of a perk, just asking. Service matters, and this property needs a better attitude toward it.

Azeem was super friendly and helpful throughout another great Marriott Vacation Club stay. The beach is easy to get to, and chairs are free for guests. CVS and Beach Cafe can help keep costs down since nearby restaurants charge extra for convenience. Ask the price before ordering the BOGO fishbowls, though, because they're not really a deal 😂 There's plenty to do and eat nearby, which works well if you're not renting a car. We prefer a more Hawaii-type vibe and less of a city feel, so Ocean Point in Riviera Beach is our favorite, with Oceana Palms second. Those places can be harder and more expensive to stay at without a car.

We wished we'd booked a few more days. The resort is beautiful, right on the strip, and there was lots to do both nearby and on site. We had a great time with Bingo, Family Feud, Fact or Fiction at the pool, arts and crafts, daily yoga, social hour, and a coffee tasting on our last day. Our stay came with two free beach chair rentals each day from 9-5, and umbrellas were available to rent. Jay at the front desk, Allison for yoga and stretch classes, and Will with the events all helped make the trip unforgettable. 10/10!

The elevator situation was awful. People waited over an hour to get on, and there often wasn't room for luggage. We even got a text saying to allow an hour to leave the building. With several elevators out for days, the stairs were a confusing route through the parking garage. They felt unsafe with young kids. I'm recovering from a broken foot and can’t manage many stairs, so climbing them for two nights was unacceptable. When I contacted MVC, they just emailed directions to stairwells on floors 19 and up. That wasn't helpful. A couple days before check-in, we were told there was construction and no balcony access. But the windows were covered in blue plastic too, so we couldn't see the supposed ocean view. It felt like a prison. We asked to move to a unit with clear windows and were told that wasn't possible. I'd give this hotel zero stars if I could. Absolutely horrible stay.

Mark from security had a great attitude, and both pool bar bartenders were extremely nice. They remembered our orders from earlier days. At the front desk, though, we got negative attitudes over basic requests, like making a room card, and staff seemed reluctant to give information. One woman working on the weekend was especially rude when we asked about a card and had a parking problem. At checkout, I was charged an extra $120, or $40 a day, for parking over multiple days. Reception had explicitly told us guests get one free parking spot, and that's also what the automated help line says. Getting an Uber from this location was extremely difficult too. The front desk and billing issue soured the experience.
