Tucked into a quiet neighborhood, this little boutique motel is a real find. The landscaped garden is large and has plenty of outdoor seating. Inside, there’s a roomy living area with comfortable furniture, a full kitchen with a dishwasher, a bathroom, and a bedroom with a small walk-in closet. It’s bigger than I expected from the website pictures, and it may once have been a group of small one-bedroom apartments. If you’re looking for the usual hotel room by a noisy expressway with free breakfast, look elsewhere. This place has comfort, quiet, and character.

We spent a month in one of the suites and it felt like a lovely home away from home, more like luxury than a regular hotel. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place, with a pool and BBQ area we enjoyed. The breakfast cafe country ham N eggs bar and grill is a two-minute walk away, and the 10% discount was nice. Their breakfast is really filling. They also give you free Colombian coffee when you arrive, and it tastes amazing. Great service, a very clean place, and comfortable beds.

A quaint, elegant, comfortable little getaway in Fort Lauderdale. The staff were terrific and very accommodating, there’s plenty of parking, and the pool is beautiful. The property and rooms were clean, and the whole experience was great.

I was in Florida for less than 48 hours for a concert and booked the basic room for two nights, around $203 total. Glad I did my homework and found this gem. It had a big, comfy bed, table and two chairs, dresser, roomy closet, nice bathroom, and a kitchen nook with a sink and hotplate. There were real plates and silverware, plus a dorm-style fridge/freezer big enough to keep ice cream frozen. I liked the Coke machine since I prefer soda from a can. I walked to Country Eggs and Ham, I think that’s the name, just behind the hotel, and came back with pancakes still hot. The two TV remotes were a little confusing, but I figured out which was for the TV and which for cable. The PBS station was fantastic. The only downside was the giant iguanas, about two feet long, that stop and stare at you. I’m not into reptiles, especially when they run past, and I wasn’t prepared for that. I’m from Indianapolis, where free-range iguanas aren’t really a thing, so I looked both ways every time I left the room. I enjoyed this much more than a chain hotel and highly recommend staying here.
