We brought the grands for a few days away, and this was our second year at the Merriwether. The service was phenomenal and very accommodating. Mary Jo, the manager, was extremely nice and made sure we had what we needed. She definitely runs a tight ship in a good way. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well furnished, the pool was small but very clean, and the beach was right across the street. Restaurants and bars were nearby. If you're looking for a modern high-rise apartment, this isn't it. It's a quaint, small, friendly place with no elevator, and we had a great stay.

The staff are the best part, so friendly and helpful. The Merriweather is right on the beach, and the units are comfortable with full kitchens.

Their customer service was already impressive before I left, but MaryJo went far beyond that. When I got to the airport, I realized my ID was missing. She went back to look where I'd caught my ride, and even offered to let me stay another night free. She talked me through what to do and kept me calm enough to think clearly, while making sure I had somewhere comfortable to stay besides the airport. They'd also let me relax by the pool after checkout and kept my luggage secure. You just don't see service like that often anymore. It deserves 10 stars. THANK YOU ❤️

We had a studio apartment that was a good size for two people and our dog. The resort was very clean, well stocked, and pet friendly. They made both us and our dog feel welcome, and housekeeping checked every day to see if we needed anything. The outside was well kept too. We loved the outstanding view, sitting on the open-air patio and looking over the beautiful area. The ocean is right across A1A. It was a peaceful place to stay.

Mary Jo was such a pleasure to meet and went out of her way for our family of four. She let us check in early and stay hours beyond the usual checkout time, which made things easier with our two small children and off schedule. The rooms were much bigger than I expected, the pool was wonderful, and the other guests were warm and inviting. The location is hard to beat. We had no rental car but could easily reach restaurants, the beach, and a CVS. We had a great stay and will come back if we're in the area.
