Coconut Bay Resort

The room and pool area were clean, and they thoroughly cleaned the pool every morning. The water stayed warm enough to swim even on chilly nights. It’s a great area, about a five-minute walk to the beach, where I went for a run each morning. I’d stay here again.

The rooms are a bit dated, but they’re spacious and clean. Coconut Bay Resort is also very close to the beach and right behind a convenience store. The staff are outstanding and always ready to help with whatever we need. I’ll stay here again.

The beach is just a short walk from the apartments, and there were lots of food choices nearby. The place was nice, with clean decor inside, and the lady at the front desk was nice too. There’s a pool, though I’m picky about chlorine in my hair. Check out mcsorelys bar, the food was incredible, and ask for a discount at the front desk. Whatever you do, don’t go into the 7/11 next to the road, the one without gas pumps. It stank, and the chips were 9 🦴s.

The pool deck was a nice place to hang out after checkout. We could leave our luggage there, sit under the shade, and still head to the beach. Manager Billy was welcoming and very accommodating. Reception staff were friendly and easygoing, and late check-in was simple, with the keys in a lockbox on our suite door. There are two buildings: Building 1 is on the north side at the entrance, and Building 2 is on the south side beside the pool and Building 1. The location is minutes from Ft Lauderdale Beach. There’s also a 7-Eleven next door where friendly staff give away free Pokémon cards. Our bedroom suite was roomy, with a kitchenette, futon couch, large bedroom, and a balcony overlooking the pool deck. The furnishings are a little old, but clean and in good shape. The bathroom water has a yellow tinge from city water treatment, and the old AC hummed now and then at night before turning on. It’s an affordable stay we’d consider again by Ft Lauderdale beach. Lounge here like you’re under a coconut tree!
