My family had a quiet, restful night in clean, well-kept rooms, and the single-room price was reasonable. Breakfast was replenished often so everyone had enough to eat and drink. The staff made sure we felt welcome and comfortable, and invited us to reach out if we needed anything. Stacey contacted me the day before to ask if I needed anything before we checked into the four rooms I’d reserved. Kiera got me checked in quickly and was polite, professional, and committed to good service. Stacey, Kiara, and everyone else were amazing. I can’t say enough good things about the hotel. If you’re traveling to LaPorte, Indiana, stay at Holiday Inn Express. The hotel and its staff won’t disappoint. Thanks to Stacey, Kiera, and the team for making the stay worthwhile. I’ll recommend it and plan to return on future visits.

It’s not a deal, either. The place isn’t cheap, and the service is bad. The hotel has gone wayyyy downhill. They used to clean rooms and have a heated pool. I asked them to clean our room while we were out, but when we got back four hours later it was still dirty. The pool was as cold as could be, even though it’s supposed to be heated. The employees don’t care. Do not stay here. I do not recommend it.

Brandon made our stay easy and memorable. Whatever we needed, he handled it kindly and professionally, with a calm energy that made us feel at home. He came through for us again and again and went above and beyond. From arrival onward, we felt welcome and looked after. You can tell Brandon genuinely cares about people. We’re grateful for the welcoming atmosphere and the people behind it, and we’ll definitely be back.

Linda did a great job in the breakfast area, keeping everything tidy and organized. She also took time to chat with guests, which made the morning feel more personal. The breakfast setup was one of the nicest I’ve seen. Brandon at the front desk also made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. He was friendly, knew his stuff, and went the extra mile to find us a room that suited our needs. The staff made the stay memorable, and I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. I had an amazing stay at the Holiday Inn Express in La Porte, Indiana.

Breakfast has been hot, fresh, and delicious each morning, and we’ve had a great stay. The room is clean and uncluttered, the staff are friendly and accommodating, and other guests have been quiet and respectful, even during a holiday week with lots of children around. We’re pretty low maintenance, but staff responded when we asked for a room refresh and help with the TV. Turns out it was just the remote. The location is convenient for us. My only complaint is the pool sign says you can’t swim alone. I wanted to go while my husband was in meetings, so I’ll wait for him to get back before taking a dip.
