Coral Reef Guesthouse

We'd love to return after our four nights here. Fresh breakfast was served each morning, and our room was cleaned and supplied with clean towels every day. It's a lovely little adults-only hotel in Fort Lauderdale, and the owners are warm, friendly people.

We rode our JackRabbit e-bikes along the coast each day and found restaurants, shops, and local spots close by. The Coral Reef Guesthouse felt tucked away and private, while still making it easy to get around. My wife and I were in town for a week exhibiting at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, and the quiet, charming setting a few blocks from the beach was a welcome break from work. The courtyard was a peaceful little oasis in the city, with greenery, orchids, and bonsai trees. We’d sit with coffee or tea in the morning and unwind there after meetings. Our room was cozy and clean, and Russell and João checked in regularly to see if we were comfortable or needed anything. They made us feel at home from the start, and their sweet French bulldog Nina greeted us each morning like old friends. We got attached to her wiggly little greeting. It felt clear this was their home and they were glad to share it. We’ll be back next time we’re in town. Whether you’re visiting for work or to relax, Coral Reef Guesthouse was a great fit for us.

I could walk to one of the water taxi stops from the Coral Reef Guesthouse, which made it easy to get out and explore ft. lauderdale. I had a wonderful stay, and the owners were so friendly and kind. My room was really clean too.

Such a peaceful garden oasis, and the owners were great about accommodating us. The rooms were freshened up every day, there were plenty of pillows, and parking was free with lots of spaces. We used Lyft to get everywhere we wanted to go. Looking for somewhere romantic? This is it.
