The staff really made this place stand out. Every interaction felt warm and genuine, and the team seemed proud of the property and the guest experience. We stayed before a cruise and wished we'd booked here for after it too. This is exactly the kind of hotel you'd want to return to after traveling. I'd stay again without hesitation and recommend it to anyone looking for a modern, thoughtfully run boutique hotel. I work in hospitality and have a bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, with a formal focus on luxury hotel operations. I've also worked in international luxury markets, including Lake Como, Italy, so I look at hotels critically. This boutique property impressed me as a strong example of modern hospitality. It felt newly established, beautifully designed, modern, high-end, spotless, and carefully maintained, while still warm and inviting. The rooms exceeded my expectations, with clean, considered details and a full-size refrigerator and microwave, a rare and thoughtful convenience. The location is peaceful and less than a three-minute walk to the beach, away from heavy foot traffic. Complimentary beach wagons came equipped with a large umbrella, cooler, two chairs, and towels, so guests didn't have to sort out their own setup. Fresh fruit-infused water was available, and the hotel's subtle signature scent added to the feeling of clean, modern luxury. Breakfast was complimentary and more considered than basic, with non-dairy milk options and smoked salmon for bagels and lox.

They were gracious and accommodating when we arrived early, and held our luggage while we went exploring. The beach was a pleasant short walk away. We had a huge, updated corner sunset room, and breakfast was served early enough for us to grab a quick bite. Before our short ride to the cruise pier, we asked if we could come back to spend time by the pool while waiting for an evening flight. They said yes, and when we returned, they remembered us and even offered breakfast. We spent the day at the pool and on the loungers. I hope I can get a room here again, even though I worry this hidden gem will be hard to book.

It felt like staying in someone's home, it was that comfortable. The hotel is cute and clean, the bed was comfortable, the pool was warm, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurants and bars by the beach are just a block away. We stayed at the Hilton beforehand and found it dirty, while this hotel was really clean. I highly recommend it.

The AC in our room was broken, so we spent the night in a room that was 76 degrees. Someone came to inspect it and basically said someone might fix it, but we would most likely have another hot night and no compensation. We weren't staying again and had to pay for somewhere else. They weren't going to refund anything until we asked, then gave us half off the night we stayed. That seemed fine until I checked the receipt and saw a rate $155 higher than what the woman at check-in had quoted. Giving a customer the wrong price is unacceptable. I also had to return the next night because I'd forgotten my prescription medication. An employee had texted that it was at the front desk, but I found her asleep on the lobby couch and she didn't know what I meant. She searched around and found my things on a cleaning cart outside, then took her time rifling through my bag of personal medications before bringing it to me. We asked to speak with the manager and she gave us his number, saying he wasn't working. When we called after leaving, she answered. She was completely unprofessional and told us it wasn't her problem that we slept in a hot room. I'm still waiting to hear from the manager. This was the worst hotel customer service I've ever had. I'd give zero stars if I could. Don't waste your money.
