Element by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Downtown

Rafi was one of the highlights of our trip. He made us feel like valued guests from the start, and was always ready with recommendations, directions, or suggestions, delivered with a smile. His kindness and positive spirit felt genuine, and you could tell he took pride in helping people feel comfortable and cared for. We'll remember his hospitality. The whole staff at the Element/Delmar on N. Federal Highway was friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is fortunate to have Rafi on the team, and our visit was fantastic from beginning to end.

The breakfast was really good, especially the parfait, and the service was stellar. My family and I stayed at the Element Fort Lauderdale Downtown Hotel before our Disney Destiny Cruise 2026. We arrived early because of our flight, and Dorian kindly found us a ready room without any extra charge. Element Marco, the bell hop, greeted us politely and helped with our luggage. Kiera and Cheyenne were also very polite and helpful, and the staff answered our questions. The hotel exceeded our expectations, and we'll return after disembarkation from our cruise. I'd highly recommend it.

Rafi made sure everything was taken care of during my stay. He was attentive, professional, and kind, and went above and beyond. It was clear he really cared about how guests were treated. The hotel was clean and modern, in a great location with a relaxing atmosphere, and everyone welcomed me when I arrived. I had a great stay at Element Fort Lauderdale Downtown and would absolutely return. Highly recommend it.

We've tried a lot of hotels and brands while traveling to the area monthly for a little over a year. This one suits us best, and we've now stayed here three times in a row over the past 3 months. The customer service each time has been better than at the other local hotels we've used. People are attentive, kind, and empathetic. On arrival, Robert the bellman loaded a luggage cart and brought it up to our room. We saw him often during our 5 days, and he always greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. The valet and front-door staff were quick to help us get on our way and answer questions. When a family member misplaced a wallet, we worried it might be in our rental car. I asked if we could look, and Harley, a valet attendant, offered to search the car thoroughly and bring it down. He spent his time looking for the wallet, selflessly. The front desk attendants helped us when we asked too. It works well for families, business trips, or a relaxing weekend for two. The on-site restaurants serve delicious food with good portions at reasonable prices. The bed is firm, and the pillows are medium-firm. Housekeeping has always kept our room thoroughly clean, even on one visit when we had three children who were a bit messy. The WiFi worked for our jobs and for the kids streaming on their iPads. Our room had a kitchenette and an apartment-sized “full” refrigerator, which suited us perfectly. There's complimentary wine and beer at a daily lobby happy hour. The rooftop has an upscale restaurant and cocktail bar; we went one night and enjoyed a spicy tuna appetizer. The location is walkable to the nice Riverwalk, several great restaurants, and a CVS. We're already planning to return next month.
