Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale-Cypress Creek

Jackie’s quick response to a room issue made a real difference. She said she’d bring new keys for another room herself, and was at my door with them in less than five minutes. She’d also texted shortly after check-in to ask if I needed anything, a nice touch as a Hilton Gold member. From the start, everyone was welcoming. Parking was easy, and the location is close to the beach, restaurants, and attractions. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with a well-kept outdoor pool, a small gym that has what you need, and free breakfast. My room had a huge TV, maybe 55” or 60”, which you don’t often see in a hotel. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it around Fort Lauderdale.

The pool and hot tub were super clean, and we’re definitely coming back. The team at this Hampton Inn went all out for our daughter, who’s now 6, with balloons, streamers, and a lovely gift in the room. It made her so happy and left a huge impression. Jackie, Danny, and the rest of the team gave us the best service we’ve had. Thanks, everyone.

I paid close to $1000 for five nights, then was charged a $300 smoking fee after checkout. I don’t smoke, so I thought it must be a mistake, but the hotel wouldn’t take my call or reply to my email. They told the credit card company they had me on camera. Are there cameras in the rooms? I don’t know, but that’s what they claimed. The other guests also weren’t the crowd I’d want to have breakfast with or park near, just so you know. The room was extremely cramped, with hardly any room to walk, and wouldn’t work for an elderly guest or someone using ADA accommodations. It was 50 degrees outside during my stay, and the rooms had AC but no heat. Book with caution.

There was a nice range of breakfast options, though we couldn’t serve ourselves because there were no plates, so we went elsewhere to eat. The beds squeaked loudly, and we could hear the metal coils with every move, but we still slept well and the place did what we needed. My kids liked the complimentary churro snacks when we arrived. The hotel felt clean and welcoming, and the staff were great.
