Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ft. Lauderdale N - Exec Airport by IHG

Best hotel breakfast bar I’ve had by far, and I’ve eaten at a lot of them. There was fresh-ground coffee, hot cinnamon rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, and excellent food made right on site. The staff were really friendly too.

I’ve been here for two weeks for a work project, with another two weeks still to go, and the staff have been amazing. They give great service and are good people all around. The location works well because there aren’t people just wandering around, and security also patrols the parking lot from late evening through the night. I’d highly recommend this place, and if I ever return for a project, I’ll definitely stay here again.

The pool looked appealing, but it was cold and in the shade during the afternoon, so we didn’t use it. That was a bit of a bummer. Breakfast was average and had plenty of staff. It was a standard Holiday Inn Express. The windows were thin, and from the airport-facing side we could hear road and plane traffic even with the shades shut and the AC on. Housekeeping was inconsistent too, and for two of the five nights they took towels without replacing them.

I have a cat, so I was disappointed to find that this location doesn’t allow cats. The receptionist working there on 7th Jan 2026 at 7:30pm EST said dogs cost $25, but cats aren’t allowed because the manager and housekeeping staff are allergic. Holiday Inn calls itself pet friendly, but this specific location doesn’t feel that way. It’s the first Holiday Inn that’s disappointed me in all my years staying with them.
