Isle of Venice

The kitchen had everything needed to cook full meals, and the beds and bedding were comfortable. The pool is heated, and the apartment-style hotel is comfortable and well maintained. It's a short walk to the beach, in a safe and quiet area. I'd absolutely stay here again when I travel to Fort Lauderdale.

We spent seven days here and would happily come back. The water was right outside our little back porch, with canals all around, and the pool was wonderfully warm. The place is cute and whimsical, full of art, and the staff were courteous. We jogged to the beach twice and were only a short drive from great restaurants on Las Olas Blvd. My partner kept telling me what a great find it was. We loved it!

The peaceful atmosphere was one of my favorite things about Isle of Venice. We stayed two weeks in low season and didn't see other guests, so we had the pool and marina seating areas mostly to ourselves. The palm trees, breezy feel, and well-kept grounds made it easy to relax, and we often ate breakfast outside by the marina. The property felt safe, with easy access and plenty of parking. It's self-serve, with coded locks and straightforward check-in, though I happened to meet Ilan in the parking lot when I arrived. He's a phenomenal host. I care a lot about cleanliness and am very sensitive to smells. I stayed in two rooms, and both were spotless and smelled fresh. The apartments have a lovely scent, the beds are huge and incredibly comfortable, and the showers have great pressure. I slept better than I had in a long time. The pool even has an interior ledge where you can rest your upper body. The whole place feels thoughtfully designed and cared for, and we felt comfortable making ourselves at home. After our two-week stay, I went to an Airbnb near Wynwood for an event, but it smelled bad, so I left after one night. I called Ilan, and he kindly welcomed us back that same morning. We were happy to drive the 40 minutes each way that weekend to return to Isle of Venice. That's how much we loved it. Ilan is warm, attentive, generous, and someone you can reach whenever you need to. Las Olas Boulevard has a charming feel, and I felt at ease as soon as I drove into town. I value personal, clean, quiet, flexible service when I travel, and this place gave me exactly that. It feels like home away from home, and I'll keep choosing it when I'm in Southeast Florida.

Emily made the stay feel relaxed and easy from the moment we arrived. She gave us useful local recommendations and checked in with us. She's one of the best hosts I've met, and it's clear she cares about guests. She and the owners have decorated each room beautifully, giving them their own little oasis feel. Ours had a tropical look and views of the yachts outside, just the getaway I wanted. The hotel is peaceful and very well cared for, right on the water but still just minutes from good brunch spots, the boardwalk, and the Elbow Room if you want to go there. The rooms were spotless, smelled great, and had thoughtful comforts, including cold AC, cozy couches, fast WiFi, and huge TVs. Parking out front was easy, the pool was heated, and the garden decorations were out of this world. You'll have to see them yourself. Our stay at the Isle of Venice Hotel was amazing. If you're going to Fort Lauderdale, I recommend staying here. I'll be back next time I'm in town. Thanks, Emily!
