The bed was comfortable, and the location was okay. That's about all I can say for the place. I stayed for a day and a half and arrived at 3:30 a.m. after 12 hours of travel. The staff were friendly, but they were smoking pod, and we could smell it from far away. They gave me the wrong apartment, so at that hour we had to move again to the correct one. The place was extremely dirty: cutlery was dirty, there were crumbs in an empty drawer, mold and debris around the windows, dusty lamps, dead insects under the bed, and dirty bathroom and floors. To top it off, the sink leaked, and we had to put a pan under it to keep the kitchen from flooding.

Valerie and her counterpart and staff went out of their way to get us into a room so we could rest after weather delays and canceled flights sent us on an unexpectedly early trip. My husband and I arrived at North Beach exhausted after a sleepless night, and they were incredibly kind and accommodating. The hotel felt like a wonderful escape and exceeded our expectations. Our king suite was immaculate and had everything we could need. It was quiet and relaxing, just one block from a beautiful beach. It's tucked across the street from the 4 Season's hotel, in a block of incredible hotels and resorts. We loved having a wonderful restaurant right on the North Beach property, and the location was perfect.
