The floors were so dirty that my white socks turned completely black after a couple of hours. The room was also freezing overnight during a cold snap, with temperatures around 32°F. There was no thermostat or heat, just an air conditioner, and cold air came through the badly sealed windows. I was later told space heaters were available on request, but guests shouldn't have to wake up in the middle of a freezing night, get dressed, and ask the desk for one when staff know the weather is that cold. I spoke calmly with staff to give them a chance to fix things and was told nothing could be done then. Management later offered a 30% discount, which I turned down because it didn't match how serious the problems were. After I said I'd contact my credit card company, I got a text suggesting they'd tell my bank the situation was fraudulent because I'd stayed in the room. Threatening guests for pursuing ordinary consumer options after declining partial compensation is deeply unprofessional. Even though cold weather may be unusual in Florida, cleanliness, communication, and respectful service still matter. This stay was one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional I've had, and the hotel failed on all of those basics. I'd strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

The outdoor space was handy, and the resident cats were a nice touch. There's a coffee shop and bakery just a block away. We stayed one night; the hotel is very dated but clean, with decent mattresses and a convenient location. Finding the main entrance was difficult, check-in was slow, and there are a lot of stairs.

Just a two-minute walk to the beach, with a cafeteria and a market close by. I really liked this vintage motel and would come back. The rooms are large and clean, there's a pleasant garden with a BBQ grill, and the customer service was excellent. Beach towels are available in the lobby. Studio rooms have a kitchen with an oven, microwave, and full-size fridge. Shampoo, soap, and body wash come in dispensers. Laundry is available, but you need to download an app and pay by scanning a code on your phone. They don't provide detergent.

The ship's location was terrific, depending on where your cruise is going. Our room was very clean, and room service came twice a day. They always left extra towels in case we needed them. The service was great, everything was excellent.
