Best place ever, with the best customer service. The two guys from India are really helpful and friendly. The lady and the older man are both very nice, and they always try to get me a discount on my room.

I felt unsafe and was horrified by how rude and incompetent the management was. The room was disgusting and unclean, and I was treated like an animal. The toilet was broken and wouldn’t flush, the shower only sputtered and there was no water pressure for the Saint Clouds, and there was no refrigerator in my room. The city had shut down the pool. This place is unsafe and unfit to be a hotel. The solution is to shut it down.

The cleaning crew has always been respectful and hardworking. I never found anything dirty or unclean, and in all my visits I never saw a roach. I don’t understand the disrespect in some reviews. It feels a bit racist to me. The people here are lovely. I’ve stayed here many times and always got prompt service. They keep an eye on the parking lot, which helps me feel safe, and the remodeled rooms look much nicer without the carpet. It’s a good place for a relaxing stay. The family running it is on point, and I’ll miss staying here. Since The Link closed, the place has been busy with all kinds of people looking for a break from everyday life.

The man at the front desk, whoever he is, is polite and welcoming. He makes you feel like a valued guest. I recommend this property. I’ve found that hotels with smoking and nonsmoking rooms often take less care of the smoking rooms. That hasn’t been my experience at TRAVELODGE on East Sunrise Blvd. They maintain their standards whatever the room type. The room in the video was for smoking, but it was so clean there wasn’t any smoke smell at all. Outstanding housekeeping. There’s no elevator, so stairs could be a problem if you don’t like climbing them. The street is very busy, and you may hear traffic. Still, it’s a great budget hotel in a prime location if you need an extended stay.
