Knights Inn Fort Madison

The owner was friendly and hospitable, and the price was a very good deal. The room was cleaner and more spacious than I expected, with comfortable beds and good bedding. The mini fridge was quite large, and the microwave would’ve been handy if we’d needed it. It’s also close to historic Nauvoo, IL. We had a great stay.

We were in room 20. It was clean and nice, with a mini fridge, microwave, clean linens, plenty of pillows, and a comfortable bed. The staff were nice too. Shower pressure was iffy, though the water heated up quickly. Checkout was at 11, but they began nudging us out after 10. They weren’t rude, but there was definitely polite pressure.

The proprietor was nice and brought us extra towels when we asked. Everything worked, including the A/C, ceiling fan, mini-fridge, outlets for phone chargers, toilet, tub, and most of the sink. The sink backed up a little. The room and bedding were clean. Knights Inn was clean overall, though dated, with cinder-block walls and a bathroom area that especially needs updating. I’d stay again and recommended it to family nearby.

My wife and I were transporting cats for rescue, and the hotel went out of its way to accommodate us. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were awesome, friendly, and accommodating. It was a wonderful experience, and I’ll recommend this hotel to everyone I know.
