There’s a free airport shuttle, and it’s easy to get to the light rail and highway. The rooms were nice, and breakfast was a little better than the usual Holiday Inn Express. But check-in took 35 minutes despite there being no line, and the front desk staff showed no urgency.

Getting to the Interstate or the Light Rail for Baltimore or BWI airport was quick from this well-located hotel. The rooms are fairly large, with a little kitchen, and everything looked quite new and in good condition. Breakfast was pretty good by American standards, especially the cinnamon rolls. Coffee is available around the clock.

Ronald was AMAZING, so friendly and always checking that everything was going well. He seemed to know everyone, and was the cherry on top of a great weekend. I’m very picky about hotels and was nervous about staying somewhere under four stars, but this was a fantastic stay. The rooms were big and clean, and the staff were kind and accommodating. Even with graduation and a basketball tournament making it a busy weekend, things went smoothly. I’d definitely stay again.

The two front desk clerks, Johnathan and Rhonda, made a great first impression and kept that up throughout the stay. They were true professionals, and those two alone make the visit worthwhile. With the change in ownership and management, IHG has raised the bar here to a five-star experience without the big expense. Ronald deserves a special thank you too. He drives the shuttle and is the man who makes the hotel’s free breakfast a success. He’d be a great addition to the management team. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed if you stay.
