Baymont by Wyndham Fort Morgan

After traveling with two kids and two dogs, we were ready to rest, but the first room we got was being redone, with all the furniture piled in the middle. We had to get that sorted out. Breakfast was pretty mediocre.

My husband is staying here for work, and the problems started right away. The WiFi barely works, so watching TV, scrolling through social media, FaceTiming family, or just passing the time is difficult. Housekeeping only comes twice a week, and the cleaning has been unacceptable. The towels and sheets are sometimes still dirty, and even when the towels are clean, they aren't folded or put properly in the bathroom. Staff also unplug his personal electronics when cleaning the room, which is really inconvenient and unprofessional. For the price and the reputation the hotel claims, the lack of cleanliness and attention to detail is unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend it for business or leisure until these issues are fixed.

We had a really nice stay, and Mary was a big part of that. We had a good chat with her, and she had a lovely display of her own Christmas village in the lobby.

I wouldn't recommend this place. A front desk employee or housekeeper was very rude and told me food, talking, or eating wasn't allowed in the room. As a paying guest, I don't see why that should be a problem. The service overall was poor. Also, employees shouldn't be sitting down to eat while guests are there.
