TownePlace Suites Los Angeles LAX/Manhattan Beach

After a stressful day that included a car accident, everything felt like too much. The staff at TownePlace Suites were kind, patient, and caring from the moment I arrived, and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and looked after. Their customer service really stood out and made a difficult situation easier to manage. It's rare to find a team so understanding and accommodating. I'm incredibly grateful. This was one of the best hotel experiences I've had, and I'd highly recommend staying here.

I really liked the cozy loft-style rooms and the decoration was much nicer than I expected. It's not a five-star luxury hotel, but the atmosphere was good and pretty quiet. There's a 24h gym, a pool, a BBQ, and a kitchen in the room. Having a kitchen meant we could buy groceries and cook our own food, though the reception also sells cafe, juice, and other article. Service was great, with polite staff who smiled and listened, and there was a security guard in the parking lot. The room service and cleaning staff were A1, even putting the dishes from the dishwasher in their place. I give cleanliness 10/10, decor 9/10, and atmosphere, food, and service 10/10. I'd definitely come back.

TownePlace Suites usually makes for a nice stay, and Marriott places are generally good, but this one was a letdown and needs major upgrades. The SpringHill right next door looks like the better choice, or try the TownePlace farther down the street.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast was delicious. Our studio kitchenette was nice and mostly clean, though the cups still had coffee marks and the plates were smudged. Laundry and drying cost a lot, and the hotel is a long way from LAX. I also got charged a data fee after using the supposedly free Wi-Fi, which was disappointing.
