It’s on the quiet north side of the island, with no traffic, and just a short walk from the lively square. The beach and pool are beautiful, and there are shuffleboard, lounge chairs, and community grills. Very well maintained. Highly recommend for a Fort Myers Beach vacation!
We’ve stayed a few times and think this is the best spot on the island. It’s at the north end, where there’s a lot less traffic, but close enough to town to walk to the many great restaurants and bars. The beach and pool are great, with plenty of chairs. We also rent bikes and ride along the beach most days. A very fun place to stay.

Those quiet sunsets are still what I remember most. We used to book end unit 306 for my October birthday for years, and the three-way views made it a favorite place for us. Cane Palm is a smaller complex, so the beach and pool never felt too crowded. I'd love to vacation there again. Things may have changed, but the peaceful, beautiful sunsets can't be taken away.
The grounds and building are kept up so nicely, and there are beach chairs to use. We had a great time at Cane Palm Beach and will be back. Check photos and ask about renovations when choosing a condo, since some haven't been remodeled. The large pool is heated, though the heat wasn't working during our stay and it felt a little chilly. It's an easy walk to Times Square on Fort Myer Beach. All in all, a fabulous place.
