The thermostat wouldn’t get the room below 73°F, and after a miserable night I went to the front desk. They said the “ecosystem” uses the outside temperature to set limits, so they couldn’t turn it down any further. That’s unacceptable when you’re paying for a place to get proper rest, especially for work. I only stayed because I had no other option, and this was the worst hotel night I’ve ever had. Even a Motel 6 has better basic comfort and amenities. I wouldn’t recommend it, particularly if you need a cool room and dependable sleep.

Brandon, the Assistant General Manager, was a huge help when we ran into a small morning issue on our latest visit. He sorted it out quickly and professionally, and was genuinely kind about it. People like him make a real difference. Thank you, Brandon, we truly appreciate your help. We’ve stayed at Drury before and love how clean, comfortable, and welcoming it always feels. The food and drinks are great, too. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return.

I liked having a bathtub, since so many hotels have switched to showers only. I was only here briefly and didn’t try the free food. The place is simple, without a fancy lobby, and you don’t need an annoying key card to use the elevators. Everything was clean and worked. Better than plenty of Doubletrees and Marriots.

Even with the A/C going out the night we were there, the problem was handled very professionally. Brandon deserves a special mention for taking care of us from check-in through the issue, and his service reflects well on the hotel. The inside stayed around 73° all night while it was about 74° outside. I changed rooms, but the A/C in that room didn’t work either, and the temperature never improved. Maybe they’ve shut the units off to save money, or maybe they’re broken. After I kept asking, the front desk finally admitted it had been an ongoing problem, but wouldn’t say more.
