Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers Airport/FGCU

Aside from Mia, who was unpleasant throughout our stay, we thought the hotel was great, and Lorna in particular was a pleasure. Mia, the “supervisor,” said we couldn’t check in over a .01 cent balance until another employee helped her. When I called to ask about the shuttle, she basically yelled at me. At the reception desk, she talked over another employee to refuse a late checkout. I know rules are rules, but Mia could use customer service retraining.

We live nearby, but we’ve spent many weekends and days off here with my lady as our vacation in town. The staff are wonderful, the food is great, and the bartenders make the best drinks around. I’d give it a million stars if I could. Thanks, Hilton Garden Inn!

The place was fine overall, and it was convenient. Everyone on staff was pleasant except one of the women at check-in. She was rude and complained to us in person about A.I., which was ridiculous. The next day we called with a question about our bill. She quickly said, “This is probably what it is,” said goodbye, and hung up before we could even respond.

We found plenty of places to eat and shop nearby, and the hotel itself has a made-to-order breakfast at its restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the property felt clean and recently remodeled. It’s also close to the Fort Myers airport, which made it a comfortable, convenient place to stay.
