The breakfast was a real plus, with a changing menu instead of the usual boring choices. Today there were warm breakfast tacos and a choice of corn or flour tortillas. The manager was helpful, and the lobby and decor felt welcoming. Our room was clean and had plenty of towels and toilet paper. I also liked the soap, shampoo, and lotion dispensers, though a small bottle of dish soap in the kitchen would’ve been useful. One thing bothered me: the breakfast attendant spent quite a while talking loudly with a colleague in what I couldn’t understand as they stood in the food area, which disrupted the quiet I enjoy at breakfast. And seeing two tip jars, one at each end of the counter, was a big turnoff. Is that approved by Hilton? I’ve never seen that before, and it makes the brand feel diminished.

We had my mom’s wedding here, and it turned into a wonderful weekend. The rooms were really nice, the staff was amazing, and everyone enjoyed breakfast. It’s in a fantastic spot for restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. I’d recommend the hotel 100%. Thank you! Stephanie
The shower was so narrow that neither my mother, who’s smaller, nor I, an average-sized person, could stand facing the showerhead. With low water pressure and a head that doesn’t adjust, I had to press myself against the wall to rinse. At 6 feet tall, that was nearly impossible. Breakfast was fine, with two main options alternating, but I didn’t think either was particularly good, even by hotel standards. We also had what seemed like water bugs come up through the kitchenette sink drain in our suite, even though we were on the third floor. I’d put the drain stopper in before bed or before leaving for the day.
The included breakfast was one bright spot, but it couldn’t make up for the service and condition of the property. It’s independently owned and doesn’t come close to Hilton standards. The place is run down and needs repairs, faucets have weak pressure, and the beds and pillows were worn and uncomfortable. The soap dispenser was empty and hadn’t been checked. Staff were rude and uncaring. Housekeeping didn’t automatically provide towels or clean the room, then the front desk argued that they had. Our group booked 40 nights in one week. Three of us were charged $149 for a 1:30 p.m. late checkout. We’d asked the day before for a complimentary extension and were told to check in the morning. At 5:30 a.m. they said I’d asked too late, and nobody in our group got one. They were willing to offer a checkout for $72.50, then charged $149. Shame on the owner for that policy. There are plenty of nice places around Fort Myers, so there’s no need to put yourself through this. Before posting, I called and spoke with a manager who said they’d fix everything, take care of us, and call me back. I never got that call.
I had a good stay with no disruptions. The rooms are huge and very clean, and breakfast has solid options. The building feels older, though, and I could never get the AC to cool the room all the way.
