I enjoyed my stay despite the other reviews. My room was clean, and I didn't see any bugs. The room only smelled once I arrived because the AC had been left off; after I turned it on, the smell went away. The hallways are a little dingy smelling and could use more air circulation. Breakfast had eggs, sausage, bagels, cereal, waffles, toast, yogurt, and more. The front desk woman was really nice and chatted with me. There's a large truck parking lot with cameras, and they keep track of who's parked there so local people don't use it for free while they go home. Tell the front desk your truck's make and color.

The rooms felt noticeably clean and comfortable, and we liked hearing the hotel was under new management. The clerk was pleasant to talk with when we checked in. A hot breakfast with lots of choices was a welcome start to the day. It's close to the highway, and the well-lit parking lot made us feel secure. This was our first stay, and we were impressed enough to recommend it and consider coming back.

Update: Since my earlier review, my opinion has changed. Hospitality is about accommodating guests, and I think the new management did that. The truck parking still feels safe for my semi, the front desk lady is still wonderful, and the room is nice and clean. What more could I ask for? Before that, I'd stayed here for 15 years as a truck driver. I tried checking in at 1 PM, two hours before the usual 3 PM time, and had never had a problem doing that under the previous owner. The front desk woman was the only good thing about the hotel at that point. She said early check-in would cost $50, so I declined and returned 20 minutes before 3. I booked through the hotel's website and couldn't cancel. The new management had taken over a month earlier, she said, and there was nothing she could do. I got room 206. It was clean and the AC was on, but there was no internet and no physical phone in the room. She said the internet had been having issues for a week. I didn't think I should have to pay $50 to check in early when those problems were theirs to fix. They'd had a month to sort out the internet and TV, and surely knew the room had no phone, which is a safety issue for guests. I told her it would be my last stay. The two stars were for the location alone. The new owner had probably lost around $2,500 a year from me.

The front desk woman wasn't the problem, but this hotel was not clean. We arrived with my family on 10/13 for a four-day stay and were first put in room 314. It was old, and the carpet had a strong urine smell. I asked for another room and got 310. There wasn't a strong odor there, but it smelled damp. The room looked cared for, so I guessed the AC just hadn't been on long enough. The TV needed help, and it turned out to be unplugged. There were only local channels, no cable. At about 3 a.m., my daughter and son woke me up fighting off lots of roaches, big ones and babies. They were all over the walls, bed, dresser, food, cups, and forks. We couldn't get back to sleep. I threw away my things, and later noticed mildew stains on the lampshade and suitcase rack. In the morning I got the kids ready for school and shook out our belongings so we wouldn't take any bugs with us. I checked out immediately and got a refund without questions, which tells me they know about the problem. Management needs to treat the infestation and the old smell in the rooms and hallways. The carpet in 314 should be removed and replaced because that urine smell seems soaked all the way through and is hazardous. The hotel needs to be shut down until this is dealt with.

The price was higher than the amount listed online. Sheets were ripped and stained, and most surfaces had fingerprints or skin oil on them, which made me think they hadn't been cleaned between guests. I wish I had a black light to see how gross the place really is. Don't take your socks off, and walking barefoot might give you a disease.
