Economy Suites Fort Smith

The staff are friendly and somewhat sympathetic, and my only issues are the constant remodeling noise and neighbors who keep fighting without anyone doing anything about it. I’m paying full price, but the banging and drilling start before I’ve had enough rest. My roommate recently had heart surgery, and I’m just trying to find somewhere peaceful for him to recover. I’d tell people who have jobs and need sleep to look elsewhere. I’ve only recently started thinking I should move, mainly because he’s sick. I woke up annoyed again while writing this, so maybe I’m just irritated, but it doesn’t seem right.

I used the weekly special to save a little money, and the price is good for what you get. The rooms are simple, with no frills, but clean and equipped with the basics. Towson Ave is right there, so shops and quick meals are easy to reach. Staff were polite and quick to answer questions, and it was quiet during my stay. A good budget option in Fort Smith for a few days or a week.

We chose this place partly because it accepts pets, and its price, including the pet deposit, was among the best in town. My spouse and I stayed for two weeks while our house was being renovated. The room had recently been remodeled and was clean, and the staff were polite and helpful. There were lots of construction workers working on the remodel, but we never had a noise problem. I’d happily stay again.

I’ll never recommend this Economy Inn. The front desk woman with short blonde hair is rude and seems to favor certain people. She treated Hispanic men better, giving them two blankets and making sure they got housekeeping before others. I saw her sitting outside the hotel drunk one evening, still drinking and singing loudly. She had locked the front office so people couldn’t come in to rent a room, then went around back to drink. She said they could wait because she wasn’t on their time. She put dog poop in front of someone else’s door, thinking it came from their dog. She seems to seek out drama and create it when she can’t find any. I reported the hotel for black mold and bed bugs that weren’t treated properly. Spend a few extra dollars and go to Suburban or Road way instead.
