The house sits on a huge, green property with big trees, birds, and a few squirrels, and Ft Smith itself is a charming town with a lot of history. The owners were warm and polite. We also enjoyed the Sunday art show: talking with the artists was fun, and there were refreshments and delicious food. Our pretty rooms opened onto a deck through French doors, and each had a relaxing jetted spa tub. Breakfast was a tasty three courses, with good coffee and orange juice. We loved the stay and hope to come back. They mentioned Miss Laura's visitors center, which sounds worth a visit for local information and a tour while in town.

The owners and staff were so accommodating and friendly, and the room and house were amazing. The Chef made outstanding food for both the reception and breakfast after our stay. We got married at Michael's Mansion a week ago today, and the whole thing was better than we expected and completely stress-free. We're thrilled with how the day turned out and plan to come back to the mansion for our anniversary. You guys rock, and thanks for pulling off what we couldn't have managed without you!

Becky and Chef Michael really know what they're doing. The place is clean and welcoming, and just walking through the door makes you feel special. The cozy rooms and friendly staff make it feel like you leave with lasting friendships, from the artist to the owners. Can't wait to come back. Thanks, y'all!

The home is beautiful, and breakfast from Chef Michael was excellent. But the faulty AC and a radio left playing downstairs kept us up with noise, and we got only about three hours of sleep. When the owner heard what happened, they didn't offer to lower the price or even comp the stay. We also had to ask for basic things like soap in the bathroom and shampoo in the shower. Beautiful place, horrible experience.

The food was incredible, the accommodations were extremely comfortable, and everything was very clean. The owners were amazingly creepy, though nice. We weren't given keys to our room, so it could only be locked while we were inside. Because of the house layout, if an event was happening we were stuck in our room or out of the B&B. We also had to text or call whenever we wanted to leave or return, or we'd be locked out. I understand it was for security, but letting guests lock their rooms and only requiring a text for nighttime entry would help. We were told nobody was in the adjoining room, yet there was shuffling and scratching from it all night.
