My family booked this place in March 2026. At $63 a night it's not bad, but keep your expectations low. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked, though some things were loose. The blinds are really good. I lost track of time because I still thought it was dark in the morning. The bathroom was my biggest problem. It looked extremely nasty, definitely rusted, and the toilet seat is low. If it were me, I'd use the lobby bathroom. The breakfast photos aren't reliable, and you can't count on eggs or meat. When I went, they had waffles, yogurt, Tang, muffins, and cereal. I'd NOT trust the continental breakfast advertisement, though it is free. The weight center has dumbbell sets up to 50lbs, one bench, a treadmill, bike, and elliptical. If you need to spend a night in Fort Stockton, by all means. I didn't feel there was quality, more just convenience. And as a side note, I wouldn't trust the replies. Looks like they just ran them through AI.

Berta made my night after a long day driving from Yuma, Az. I was having a rough time because I'd had to leave my dad there on hospice. I saw her juggling calls, check-ins, and other tasks, but when I locked myself out of my room twice, she dropped what she was doing and helped me with a smile. Thanks, Berta, you're an asset to this place!

For the price and location, this is a really good option if you want to visit Big Bend National Park without breaking the bank. The hotel was decent and the rooms were clean. There was a bit of a strange smell, but we had an odor neutralizer, so it wasn't a problem.

We checked out after the first night. The room stank and the bathtub was rusted. People staying in the neighboring room were hanging around outside ours, talking loudly while drinking and smoking. The front desk acknowledged the smell in the room and hallway, and said the rust was normal because of the water quality. I'm now seeing a 3 night charge. I hope to get the money back for 2 nights, as I was told at the front desk.

The hostesses were very kind and helpful, but the hotel was a disaster. I had to get another room because the chair legs were broken and the sheets were stained. The next room still had stained sheets and smelled like cigarettes. The toilet wouldn't flush, and the shower was rusted.
