The owner says there’s parking onsite, but their many RVs, possibly for a rental business, take up all the spaces, so you have to park down the street. There’s no lighting behind the property, so bring your own flashlight if you arrive late. Inside, the house was not clean at all. The bathroom had what looked like days of urine, and the bathtub rails were covered in months of hairspray. Small messes in shared areas might be expected, but this was far worse. The owner knocked, then unlocked my private room and came in without giving me enough time to reach the door. My privacy was definitely violated. This place might have potential, but the no-refund policy is used regardless of the situation, and they don’t seem to care that the house is unsanitary. Unsanitary and unsafe.

After reading reviews and looking at Google photos, we canceled our plans to stay here. It’s an AirBNB listed as a hotel, and it feels like a scam. Bookings can’t be refunded, and getting any money back means fighting for it. They’re refunding only $15 of our $260 room cost. Extremely disappointing, though I’m glad we dodged this bullet.

I couldn’t sleep because of the smell and poor condition of the room. The sheets were stained and smelled strongly; the replacement I requested was just as smelly and unclean. The room was outdated, there was no soap in the bathroom, and breakfast wasn’t available at 7 a.m. when I had to leave for class. Nothing made me comfortable. I called my daughter crying, canceled my reservation, and booked an expensive hotel at the last minute. Even after I complained, I was charged for the night I stayed. This was a couple of months ago, and I hope things have improved.

We felt safe coming back very late, and getting in and locking up with the provided codes was easy. Parking was free, simple, and right in front. The location worked perfectly for what my friend and I needed for the night. Our large room had two comfortable queen beds, lots of space for our things, a big TV, and plenty of mirrors. Sharing the bathroom and kitchen with others worried us a little, but it wasn’t a problem. There were plenty of snacks, breakfast items, coffee, and tea, plus toiletries in case you forget something and plush, clean white towels. A couple of small things: the kitchen cabinets could use more attention inside and out, there weren’t robes as claimed, and there was only one shower caddy for the shared bathroom. None caused us trouble, and we’ll definitely stay again. Great value!
