The PATH made getting around easy, and the free shuttle runs hourly to Newark Airport. Given the chaos of New York, staying here felt like a very sensible choice. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we thought breakfast was fantastic. Thanks for everything, we recommend the hotel to everyone.

The hotel is close to the train station, and there’s a nearby parking garage, though the hotel has only a limited number of spaces and charges a daily fee. The rooms are old and dated, with modern lighting that doesn’t match the rest of the decor. The online pictures are accurate. Our small bathroom had water leaking onto the floor, possibly from the toilet or sink, and there wasn’t much counter space. The elevators are slow and small. Breakfast is included, but the selection is limited and the quality wasn’t great. They use paper and plastic plates and utensils. The staff were okay, and weren’t rude like some reviews said.

Just arrived and already found everything clean. The shuttle is really good, and the staff are friendly and professional. After staying a few days, I can only thank everyone, especially Lewis. Great location, close to shops and the subway. Just perfect.

We came for one night because my mom, my uncle, and I had business in Manhattan. The train is an easy option, with the station only a short walk away. The room was spacious and very clean, the staff were kind and courteous, and breakfast had a great spread when we were there: eggs, bacon, French toast, pastries, and good coffee. Sleep was the big problem. The hotel is in an old building that used to be apartments, and the windows barely block outside noise. I’ve stayed downtown in NYC and Chicago and never heard this much from the street. We checked out a night early because we had a long drive ahead and it was clear sleep probably wasn’t going to happen. Bring noise-canceling headphones if you stay. Parking in Jersey is a nightmare. The hotel lot costs $37 a night, and there are public garages nearby, so weigh the options. You also have to pay for the full visit upfront, along with a deposit that’s refunded at checkout. We left at 9 pm on Monday instead of the 12 pm checkout Tuesday, but they wouldn’t refund the unused night. They said the room couldn’t be used by anyone else because we hadn’t left by noon. That seemed unreasonable and punitive, especially since I’d have stayed if I’d been able to sleep. If you’re coming for a quick errand, the location is convenient, but know what you’re getting into and plan accordingly. The neighborhood is very diverse. You’ll see black and brown people outside. That doesn’t bother me, but it may bother some people.
