Breakfast was cooked fresh instead of served as a buffet, and the eggs were delicious. Dinner was excellent too, with hot fresh food, good alcohol, and great servers. The exterior gives a poor first impression, but the inside makes up for it. I liked the slick, old-fashioned decor, and my room was great aside from a few tiny issues.

We had friends and family join us for brunch the morning after our wedding night here, and it was incredible. There was a great choice of food and drinks, and the mimosa was really good. Our room had a balcony and a comfortable bed, though it was a bit dated and the bathroom was very small. The outside doesn’t hint at how nice it is inside. Some updates could bring in more business.

We were given this stay as a honeymoon gift, and it was an amazing experience. The place has a lot of history, good food, and a warm atmosphere. The breakfast bar was great, and nearly all the staff were extremely welcoming and courteous. One staff member seemed to have an attitude problem. The indoor and outdoor pools were spacious and full of character. I’d definitely like to come back.

Our room was spacious and really comfortable, and we plan to return. Dinner was great, especially with Doug serving us. We sat on the lounge side and loved the atmosphere and food. Breakfast was nice, though not exceptional. The hostess who was there for both meals came across as rude and annoyed.

The restaurant food is fabulous, and the staff are kind and helpful. I also like the quaint bar, where there’s a live band every Friday and Saturday night. The rooms are really nice, the hot tub is hot, and the indoor pool is heated. The outdoor pool isn’t heated. One of my favorite hotels in Fort Wayne.
