I've stayed at lots of hotels over the years, especially Hiltons, and I work at a resort. My kids were delighted that I was picked as "guest of the day" and thought it was super awesome! Justin was extremely helpful throughout our stay. When the pool ran out of towels, he found us some extra, and when I called about bedding for our pull-out couch, he came back upstairs to bring it. He was pleasant and smiling the whole time.

I was here for a weeklong work trip and had a good stay. The room was spacious, clean, and big, and breakfast was good. They also feed you dinner on Wednesday. I'd stay here again on my next trip to the area.

The staff were friendly and very responsive, which was the good part. But we stayed in room 210 for a few nights over Christmas Eve, and there were too many problems for me to come back to this Homewood Suites. There was a large brownish-red stain on the carpet. It didn't smell, but I kept wondering what it was the whole stay. The shower had pink mold, and the shower gel was empty, which is awful to discover once you're already wet. The toilet handle had to be held down for a full flush. For three mornings in a row, there were no metal or plastic utensils. When I asked the person restocking the limited breakfast choices, he said people take them to their rooms at night. The phone didn't work either, so every question meant going down to the front desk. We won't stay at this particular Homewood Suites again.

As a Diamond member, I expect more. I'd booked a King Junior Suite on the Hilton Website more than two weeks ahead, but at check-in they said they were overbooked and didn't have it. How does a hotel overbook with all the technology these days? The room they did give me had only one towel and no floor mat. It also looked like someone had lain on top of both Queen beds. The rooms and bathrooms need upgrading.
