Quality Inn Fort Wayne

I booked a jacuzzi suite a month ahead, but by check-in it had already been booked by someone else. I was told three days before arrival that cash stays need a deposit, but it seemed otherwise fine. Then at the hotel I found out rewards stays require a $250 deposit, too. The room they gave me was on the second floor with no elevator, so I had to make three trips up and down the stairs with luggage. If you want what's advertised, look elsewhere. I definitely will next time I'm in town.

The room was fairly clean despite the construction, but the water from both the shower and faucet felt silky. At first we thought it was our soap, but no, rinsing felt like it took 30 minutes. We used bottled water to brush our teeth. Quality Inn, do better. Check-in was a disaster. Chris didn't greet us or welcome us, just opened with “ID?” He gave me and my guest no hotel information, and I had to ask about amenities. Our reservation was also messed up, with my name missing, even though my fellowship called ahead and added our names. Chris wasn't even stationed at the check-in area, which was set up under the stairs.

We couldn't stay because the conditions were so dirty, and they refused to refund the charge for two rooms for two nights. There was dirt on the bedspread. When I showed it to the front desk woman, she brushed at it and insisted the room was clean. The parking lot was full of trash, and the front desk under a stairwell was dirty and trashy too. They wouldn't give me a manager's contact. The service was the worst I've ever experienced. I'll never stay at a Quality Inn again and will tell everyone the same. Don't stay here.

The room smelled like feet and was dirty, the shower water barely stayed warm, and the so-called continental breakfast was soggy sausage sitting in water in a warmer. The door uses a code, but it glitches and you have to enter it ten times to get in. The hotel was under construction, which made things worse. I could've paid 30 bucks less across the street and had a slightly better stay. This place was trash, absolutely dreadful.
