I come here every Thanksgiving, and the whole staff has always been warm and helpful. This visit my room had a problem, so I switched rooms three times. The front desk agent stayed pleasant through all of it and eventually got the TV working in one of the rooms. I thought about trying the newer Springhill Suites, but I’ve had such good experiences here that I see no reason to change.

The room was spacious and had a kitchenette, a separate bedroom, a living room, and a really nice shower. I spent about five hours there with my family, showered, watched TV, had dinner, and went to sleep. Then around 3 or 4 in the morning I saw bed bugs in the bathroom, on the sofa, and in the bed. The room cost $150 a night, and a hotel at that price shouldn't have bed bugs. I wouldn't bring a family here. Gina pest control and the health department came after I called them. Bed bugs usually come out at night, though they can show up in daylight if they're very hungry. Having pest control come in the morning doesn't reassure me.

This is an okay hotel, but it doesn't seem to work well for people on night shifts. I wasn't warned about a scheduled fire alarm test, and it woke me in a panic as I tried to get my pets. Another time, I was woken by HVAC cleaning. They tried to arrange a time to come, but never showed up. I complained at the front desk and got an apology, but nothing to make up for the disruption. I won't return.

My family paid $150 for one night and checked in around 10 or 11 at night. By 2 or 3 a.m. we left because bed bugs were biting us. I showed one to the front desk, and he agreed it looked like a bed bug. Gina, the supervisor, said she'd asked pest control to come, but they hadn't found any. Bed bugs usually come out at night, though they may appear in daylight if they're very hungry. The manager didn't care what we went through, and we didn't get a refund.

The breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and nice. I look forward to staying here again when I’m back.
