Breakfast was decent, but the hotel is actively under construction and the roll-off dumpsters leave parking limited. The rooms should be great once everything's finished. For now, my room had plaster and debris, only one coffee, and just two towels. The shower was a disaster, see photos.

I've stayed at this hotel before, but I couldn't stay this time because of the construction. I have multiple disabilities that make construction dust and wet paint a medical risk, potentially serious enough to put me in the hospital. I booked two nights through Choice Hotels at the cheaper nonrefundable rate, knowing I planned to go. Later, in my stay details, I found a prominent notice saying a major renovation had been underway since October 2025. That information hadn't been clearly shown when I booked. I first called the hotel to cancel. Riya at the front desk said only Choice Hotels could handle it. Choice was understanding, but even they had trouble finding the construction information and said they'd message the hotel to make it easier to see. I doubt they will. They explained that, because the hotel is privately owned, they couldn't cancel without its permission, so they called the property on my behalf given my medical situation. The hotel still refused. Choice told me to contact the hotel again. Riya said I could call back at 4 PM when the manager arrived, though she couldn't promise a cancellation, and said she'd also be there. I called at 4:05, but another woman answered. Riya had left. She asked why I wanted the manager, then said he wasn't in and she'd call back in 30 minutes. After 40 minutes, I called again. She said they couldn't cancel and repeatedly tried to talk over me while I explained why. Eventually she passed me to the “manager.” I couldn't make out his name, so I asked him to spell it. He yelled, “What do you want?!” My husband was listening on speaker, and after I had looked into who owned the hotel, he identified the man as the owner, Chirag Patel. Chirag was abrupt and barely let me speak. He kept telling me to call Choice, even though I'd explained they had already tried and sent me back to the hotel. He wouldn't listen as I repeated my situation. Finally he said, “your room is canceled,” and hung up. People who appear to be family members run the hotel, and I found them hard to understand because they don't speak English well. They showed no care for circumstances that could affect a stay, and major construction wasn't clearly disclosed on booking sites. I won't stay there again. The staff were very rude and unprofessional, and I had to call repeatedly just to reach the front desk. Unacceptable.

For $100 a night, I expected access to the pool, gym, and breakfast, but the pool room and gym were closed because construction materials were stored there. The hotel is being renovated, which I can understand, but no one mentioned that when we booked. The room itself was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was poor. A few muffins and slices of bread were all that was out, even though the hot food chafing dish was on. At 9 AM, an hour before the 7-10 breakfast ended, I was told they weren't putting out more food because breakfast was almost over. The apple juice tasted like watered-down, apple-flavored ice water. When I asked, they said that's how the factory sets the machine, but juice from those machines has never tasted that way to me. Definitely won't return.

The king suite was nice, with clean carpeted rooms and a really great bed. I wasn't comfortable with the pillows, though. There was lobby construction, so the pool couldn't be used. Breakfast was available.
