AC Hotel Fort Worth Downtown

A good base for walking to shops and restaurants, with Sundance Square close by. The hotel feels clean and modern, the rooms are nice, and housekeeping was friendly and efficient. We stayed five nights, though, and the room really wasn’t set up for a longer visit. There was no closet, just a tiny spot to hang a few clothes.

The valet team really stood out. I’d first parked in the garage across the street for $50 a night, with no in-and-out privileges. The valet driver went over there and moved my car to AC Hotel’s valet, which cost the same but let me come and go freely. The staff were friendly, and the rooms have a comfortable, modern feel with natural wood and an artisan touch. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby, easy to reach on foot. I’d happily recommend staying here.

Towne Park and the valet crew at the AC Hotel made our stay feel perfect. Everyone we met was cheerful, helpful with directions, and clearly working hard. I really enjoyed chatting with each of them. We had two free days after our conference to see Fort Worth, and the location and staff were both great.

The room was pretty average, and the key cards for both the elevator and the room were unreliable. What really upset me, though, was how the front desk handled a lost item. We checked out Thursday morning and realized that afternoon that we’d left my husband’s medical coat behind. The person I called said she couldn’t reach housekeeping and would call me back. By Saturday morning, I still hadn’t heard anything, so I called again. A different person said housekeeping wasn’t there yet and promised a callback. No one called that afternoon either, and when I tried again nobody answered. My husband got through and was told again that they hadn’t spoken with housekeeping but would call back. It’s Sunday afternoon now, still no word. I’m afraid the coat has been thrown away, and it can’t be replaced. His school gave it to him at graduation. I’ve left things at hotels before and usually been able to collect them the same day, so I didn’t think this would be complicated. I would at least have appreciated a call to let me know what happened. I can’t understand why the front desk couldn’t get in touch with housekeeping over four days.
