Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Worth Downtown

I’m usually loyal to Marriott, where several members of my family are high up in the corporate world, but I tried this Embassy Suites because my fiancé’s company is partnered with Hilton. That was a huge mistake. There were no pros for us, just hostile staff, poor service, and an unwelcoming atmosphere. My fiancé was harassed and spoken to unprofessionally just for touching the coffee machine. We were paying guests, yet staff made it feel like we were bothering them by using basic amenities we’d paid for. I’ve never been treated with that level of disrespect at a Marriott. The hospitality here was nonexistent, and staff seemed to lack basic customer service training. If you want to be treated with dignity and have a stress-free stay, book elsewhere. We’re going straight back to Marriott and won’t stay at a Hilton property again.

Had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious and nice, and both breakfast and the evening reception were great. Every staff member was so friendly, and the location was perfect. I’ll definitely be back 😊

The breakfast was on the seventh floor, with plenty of seating and a good range of food. When we had a clogged sink, someone came to fix it, and extra towels arrived promptly. The lobby is nice too. Still, the condition of the room was a real disappointment, and we’ll stay elsewhere next time. It was our first time in Fort Worth, but now we know the downtown layout, with plenty of other places within walking distance of restaurants, the convention center, and local sights. The hotel feels very outdated and badly in need of a refresh. The lobby is a contrast with the floors, which clearly haven’t been updated. Our two-room suite was dark, with only one small bedroom window. The door had big scuffs and dents, the living room lampshade was broken and tilted, and the desk chair was worn and tattered, like something discarded. The wallpaper was stained and buckling. Someone in our party was going to sleep on the sofa bed, but its mattress pad was dirty and looked like it had blood stains. They ended up staying at the hotel next door instead.

Great room, handy location, and the friendliest staff. Hey Quinn, Monique, and happy hour bartender! Everyone at the hotel and the nearby restaurants really went above and beyond. Ft Worth is such a friendly town, and I felt lucky to visit. See you again!
