La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fort Worth - Lake Worth

The staff made the stay a good one. Everyone was amazing, quick to respond when we had a problem, and very helpful. Our door jammed and wouldn't open, even when staff tried their cards, but they dealt with it as quickly and professionally as they could. The hotel itself needs some updates, and management should take care of the maintenance issues.

I slept well despite being near the airport. There was one noticeably loud takeoff, which I think was a fighter jet, but it didn't keep me awake. I only needed to close the curtains to block the airport beacon light. The bed was soft, the pillows comfortable, and the price was hard to beat for the quality. The view from my room was a real treat, with the city in the distance and the nearby airport below. I caught an incredible sunset and sunrise. The hotel was clean and nice, my room was spotless and ready when I arrived, and the staff were friendly. I was very impressed with this La Quinta Inn & Suites in the Lake Worth area of Fort Worth, and would stay again.

Our stay was awful, and I'm not usually someone who leaves bad reviews. They couldn't find the reservation I'd made months earlier, so we had to book again. The front desk woman was rude, and when we finally got upstairs, the room keys didn't work until I asked them to fix them. Once inside, the main light was out and the carpet had several stains, though the beds were fine. The fridge didn't work and smelled so bad it filled the room. The front desk said they'd replace it in the morning, but the new one ran for only 10 minutes before stopping and leaking water all over the floor. The tub was clogged, tiles were cracked, and my daughter cut her foot on one. The ceiling was only half painted. Breakfast was fine. There was dog poop all over the property. This was the worst hotel experience I've had, and I would not recommend staying here.

We arrived at 2 AM after a flight and were first taken to a room that hadn't been cleaned. The replacement was dirty too, with a sink that was falling in and a brown substance on the shower head. The room was cold, and the broken AC controls meant we couldn't fix that. The staff were understanding when we asked to cancel and get a refund. That was the most redeeming part of the experience.
