Spark by Hilton Fountain Hills Scottsdale

We stayed four nights and were so happy with the room and staff. Josh was wonderful and helped with every little thing we asked about. The rooms were clean, well equipped, and practical, the bagel bar breakfast was great, and the price was very good. Just a great place to stay, and we'll definitely come back.

The bed was the highlight for me. It was very comfortable and absorbed movement so well that I could barely feel the other person shifting. I had one of the best nights of sleep I've had in a long time. The room and facilities were clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. The canteen had a good supply of snacks. The room was set up well for technology too, with USB-A and USB-C ports, wireless charging pads, and a TV that made it easy to hook up entertainment devices. We'd definitely stay here again.

In November I was given an upgrade to a two-bed room, but it was clearly not properly cleaned. Things were out of place and there was no soap or shower gel. I booked another stay for the following day and asked to switch rooms, but they wouldn't let me. They also overcharged me for one of the rooms. I've called the hotel and customer service several times, and the calls keep getting disconnected. I stayed longer, and have proof. If I'm not in the system, why was I overcharged? They don't help, and I believe they took my money. Don't book here.

I called the front desk about mold in the shower because my health condition means I can't stay somewhere with mold. They said there were no other rooms to move us to, so we had to find somewhere else to stay. We were also given a rollaway bed without a blanket, and they wouldn't refund the one night we had it. Someone said they'd call back about my concerns, but nobody did. When I called again late that afternoon, they said there was no mold, just caulking. The customer service was horrible.
