River Inn Motel

It was cheap, but I wouldn't want to spend a couple of nights there. The other guests were loud and unruly every night, and nobody seemed to be around to ask them to quiet down. The door had no security lock at all, and even after it was locked, a little push could open it. The rooms felt cobbled together, with some pretty ridiculous repairs. Heating and air conditioning weren't under your control, the shower barely flowed and had no pressure, and the tiny TV was hard to hear. Maybe it works if you need a cheap place for half an hour, but for a longer stay you can do much better.

I slept great, and the room was just fine. It's a nice little Ma & Pa hotel. I'm a truck driver, and the young woman at the front desk kindly offered me a ride to McDonald's. If you need a cheap place to rest your head for a night, this is it.

The air conditioner never cooled the room, and the microwave was gross. The room was disgusting, with a Pop tart wrapper under the pillow when I arrived, and they hadn't even put on fresh bedding. When I asked maintenance to clean the microwave, he tried to charge me $400 for my cat to stay.

The room smelled terrible, and the fixtures were in rough shape: the bathroom light was almost all the way out, and the light beside the bed was barely hanging on. There were cigarette burns in the floor and at least 15 holes burned into the blanket. I've stayed at many motels, but this was one of the worst. At 60$ plus a 20$ pet fee, it wasn't worth a cent. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, especially families with children.
