MainStay Suites Foxboro – Mansfield

One big plus if you drive an EV: the Tesla Supercharger is right on the property, and it’s half price until 8am, so I took advantage. The rooms are nice and spacious, with a large master bedroom and a sofa bed that works well for kids. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, and most seemed brand new. The hotel shares a building, lobby, front desk, and breakfast area with Comfort Suites. The property is neat and clean, and generally good if you overlook a few small issues. Breakfast, which is shared and quite basic, was small and low quality. We stayed two nights, but housekeeping didn’t clean the room or replace towels on the second day. The front desk was happy to provide fresh towels and anything else we needed.

I paid $125 for the room yesterday, then when I arrived they wanted a $250 deposit to stay at the main stay hotel. They said they smelled smoke in my room because I smoke outside in my car. The place is dusty and dirty anyway, and I was only there because it was cheap and close to work. I’ve stayed there numerous times, and since I didn’t stay this time, I should’ve gotten my money back. The customer service was terrible. I won’t be going back. Marriot in foxboro charges a $20 deposit, not $250. Good luck 😂

They’re doing a great job freshening up and adapting an older property, with all new furniture. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The suites are made by connecting two regular hotel rooms: one side has the beds and bathrooms, the other becomes a living room with a FULL KITCHEN, including a full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and double induction cook top. Pets are welcome, and there are Tesla superchargers on-site plus a 99 Restaurant in the same parking lot.
