It did the job when I needed a place to sleep, and the woman at check-in was nice enough. The beds and pillows were decently comfortable, and the TV was a good size even though it wasn't a SmartTV. There was also a fridge, microwave, and, oddly, a bidet on the toilet. Still, I've stayed in better places for about the same price. The room needs some care: grime, peeling paint, a shower I couldn't get working, and a comforter with what looked like a cigarette burn, even though the room was non-smoking. The desk faced the bed, leaving you squeezed between them if you sat in the chair. There's no door chain, though there is a dead bolt. If all you need is sleep, it works.

We come into town almost every weekend and keep staying here because the staff are lovely. They treat us really well, greet us by name, and the room is always clean and cozy. We'll keep coming back.

We left after about 15 minutes and went somewhere else. The room smelled musty, and the walls, door, counter, and shower all looked unwiped. The sheets had holes, and the furniture seemed like it came from a garage sale the day before. The table was barely holding together with two screws and a prayer, and the chairs in both our rooms were appalling. We wouldn't return.

The front desk lady was incredibly nice and courteous, and the place is in a quiet area that doesn't feel sketchy. Our room was clean and had no bugs at all, which seems like a hard thing to find at other hotels around here. I'd come back!

Check-in was quick, and the staff handled our concerns very well. The free breakfast was pretty good for being free, though we had to ask because the juice for the buffet hadn't been turned on. The maple syrup came out very slowly too. The pool was out of service, which was why we'd stopped here, so we could swim before hitting the road. Hopefully they get it fixed.
