Noon checkout was a real perk for me. I’m not a morning person, so there was no rush, and I could enjoy the room and time with my girlfriend. The motion-sensor light by the door did startle her when I got up to change, though. It flashed on while she was looking that way from bed. The breakfast was good, with a nice range of choices. I didn’t go down myself, but my girlfriend did and brought some food back for me. The room had enough of what we needed for our one-night stay, including a neat bathroom and an extra long seat that was kind of like a bed. The beds were comfortable enough for a hotel, and I liked the blinds above the AC, even if raising and lowering them got annoying. The location was good, and the room felt about like other Holiday Inn rooms, which I like. This was one of my better hotel stays.

Breakfast was just okay, with the same hot items each day: cheese omelets, turkey sausage, and sausage gravy with biscuits. The biscuits were burnt on two of the three mornings, and the coffee was weak and tasted burnt, too. Our room was missing the second shade that would have blocked the light. Since we checked in on a Friday, the issue wasn't fixed.

This was one of the nicer Holiday Inns I’ve stayed in, but checkout was supposed to be at noon and housekeeping tried to come in around 10. We had a “do not disturb” sign on the door. They knocked, then opened it and tried to enter when we didn’t answer almost immediately. Please make sure guests have checked out before sending someone to their room.

The staff were really friendly, and the room was clean with a comfortable feel to it. Had a great stay and would definitely come back.

The place is quite nice, though you can tell it's so new that a few things were missed. Our double queen suite felt a bit odd because there was no divider for the couch area and no separate TV there. Those both seemed like mistakes, especially against how nice everything else was.
