Hyatt House Nashville/Franklin/Cool Springs

The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and that big walk-in shower was awesome. Breakfast was great too. A wonderful place to stay if you're going to events in Franklin or downtown Nashville. I'd definitely recommend it.

The rooms are lovely and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Still, we won't return. Loud cars race very close to the hotel, and apparently street racing takeovers are known in the area. I'm surprised earlier reviews didn't mention them. It's a shame this disrupts what would otherwise be a pleasant stay. After a recent incident, I'm adding that the wrong card was charged for our stay, costing us time and forcing us to rearrange our finances. We checked with staff several times to confirm the right card was on file, and again at checkout. They assured us it would be used, and the payment receipt even showed that card number. The whole thing was unacceptable and a mess to sort out from our end. Staff need comprehensive training.

There's a lounge area big enough for family card games, and the outdoor fireplace and seating were lovely. We gathered our family of 27 in the conference room for a special meal and gift exchange, and it worked perfectly. The staff at the front were always courteous and helpful, and the bartender was a hit with the younger adults. Breakfast was great every morning, and the coffee was piping hot. The rooms were incredible. It's a great location too, across from Walmart for last-minute items and close enough to walk or drive to some fabulous restaurants. A great spot for a family or friends gathering.

I left my electronic toothbrush in room 315 on Wednesday the 14th, right where I remember setting it in the bathroom while packing. When I called, I was asked to call back, then told someone would call me. Nobody did. On my third call, I was told that since nobody had called back, they'd looked and found nothing. Hyatt employee, I hope you're enjoying that new Oral B I10 toothbrush. It probably ran out of charge by now since the charging base was left behind. I didn't expect this kind of dishonesty at a place like Hyatt House.
