Frederick-Days Inn

There was too much noise at night from the different guests, and it looked like many people lived there full time. The place needs a complete overhaul, and it cost too much for what you get. My room was dirty, with someone else's hair on the bathroom floor. The toilet shifted when I sat down, the tile grout was gross, the tub was peeling, and the sink was cracked with no way to fill it for shaving. Water pressure was low, too.

The hotel was dated, which was okay, but breakfast was sparse and wasn't replenished. When the milk finally was refilled, it was spoiled. We had to bring used towels to the desk to get fresh ones. Our keys never worked for the gym, and the pool didn't open until 1, I think.

I saw cockroaches while lying in bed, and my son said he'd seen a rat run through the parking lot. There were also people looking into your vehicle. The shower walls had hair on them, so I cleaned them myself, and the air conditioner sounded like a jet taking off. I told the front desk person, but he didn't seem to care. I packed up, checked out, and found somewhere else to stay.

The free breakfast was a nice added value, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. What stood out most was the customer service: the front desk staff were polite and efficient, and made check-in and check-out easy. I was very satisfied with the stay.
