The rain changed the wedding plans, but the staff quickly moved the ceremony under the tent and had umbrellas ready for guests. They were organized and very helpful throughout. The parking lot sits down a bit of a hill, though they gave us rides to and from it. I was there for a wedding, not an overnight stay, but I appreciated that staying at the manor is an option. I’m part of the family, and the bridal party let me use one of their rooms to change, which was a big help after being there since lunch. The manor’s grounds and woodwork are gorgeous, and the artwork is unusual and interesting. It was a beautiful experience, and Braehead Manor gave the wedding a fairytale feel.

The wedding ran smoothly, and we stayed late into the night. Since it rained, the ceremony, dinner, and reception were held in large tents outside the manor, while the wedding party got ready inside. The building and grounds were lovely, with plenty of parking and hotels and other places nearby. I’d recommend this venue.

The venue is beautiful, and the staff are incredibly helpful. I heard from the bride that the innkeeper even went to her apartment to pick something up and took time to play with her dog. That kind of care says a lot. It’s easy enough to get there and has ample parking. 10/10, would recommend.

I had my wedding reception at Braehead Manor today, and it was the best experience of my life. The staff were patient and understanding, and helped so much with both setup and takedown. The amenities are amazing, especially the shower. My wife and I had a great time, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with these people.

Mary, the innkeeper, was such a pleasure to meet and talk with. The accommodations were excellent, the house and grounds beautiful, and breakfast was amazing. My family and I really loved our stay and hope to come back soon.
