The whole complex was quiet and clean, with restaurants right across the street or in the same lot, and a mall and Walmart at the next light. I was there for a weekend while waiting out a storm, and the room was larger than I expected. Everything looked clean, including the vents and window seals, and the water pressure and temperature were both great. The staff were attentive and really nice. There’s breakfast, plus two complimentary drinks after 5 p.m. for guests over 21 with proper ID. Coffee and tea are available all day. They also have laundry and workout rooms, a business area for printing or browsing, and will shovel a path when it snows. I especially liked that they offer a shuttle for CMV drivers who have a breakdown. I didn’t need one this time, but if I’m back in this part of Wyoming, I’d stay here again.

I usually choose this place when I’m passing through Wyoming. It’s easy to reach from the interstate, the streets are clearly marked, and there are nearby places to eat, gas stations and convenience stores. The rates are reasonable, and the rooms are comfortable, clean and easy to access, with plenty of outlets for devices. Breakfast is standard fare, but the setup is clean and pleasant. I wouldn’t suggest bringing a semi here. A large box truck or a pickup with a trailer should be manageable.

Theresa was so friendly and made getting set up for a week easy. The price was good, the service was wonderful, and breakfast was good too. They also offer complimentary cocktails from 5 to 7 p.m. This is the best Choice hotel in Rock Springs, and my top choice if you need a place in Rock Springs.

The manager, who was also working the desk, was friendly and seemed genuinely interested in making sure I was comfortable. The room was clean, and the bathroom was nearly as large as some of the less livable rooms I’ve paid more for. I’ve stayed in rural hotels that were smaller, dirtier and in much worse shape for way more money. I’m not especially fond of the city as a whole, but I’d stay here again without hesitation.

The room was clean and the sheets smelled nice, though the door was hard to close. The woman at the desk was incredibly warm and friendly both when I checked in and when I checked out. The hotel itself is kind of what you’d expect for the price.
