I stayed here for four years because I had nowhere else to go, and it's the worst hotel I've ever been in. There were bedbugs coming through the wash and roaches everywhere. The parking lot had potholes and wasn't lit well enough for people who needed to walk because they couldn't drive. Loud, rude neighbors kept me from sleeping, and the attendant, front office, and police did nothing about it. I recommend staying away. If you don't feel safe, don't go there.

The room was filthy. You could see through holes in the door, the walls were visibly dirty, and my black light showed what looked like bodily fluids on the headboards and walls. The smell was awful, and both beds had holes in their paper-thin bedspreads. The mini fridge door wouldn't close, and I could hear water sloshing inside when I tried. I've stayed in cheap motels, but this place wasn't worth a penny. We lasted less than five minutes before checking out, even though I was exhausted and needed sleep. I wish I'd taken photos, but we were too anxious to get out. The woman processing my refund didn't do it properly, then called at 3:30 a.m. and left a message asking me to email a copy of my credit card to get the room refunded. I didn't do that; I had to stop there on the way home so they could process the refund. Don't waste your time or money.

The floor was so dirty that walking barefoot turned the bottoms of my feet black, and the motel was infested with roaches. The parking lot was full of potholes and very dark at night, making it hard to move around safely or turn into the property in an area with lots of pedestrians. Getting back to the interstate was inconvenient too. This place is disgusting. Don't spend your money here.

I was bitten on my face, neck, and mouth while sleeping, and I believe the bites were from bedbugs. I photographed the bites and showed the front desk, along with pictures of bugs I'd killed. Manager Ava was rude and hateful, accused me of bringing the bugs in, and made me leave. I read another review from someone who said they found bugs in the same room I stayed in. How would you like to walk around with bites on your face and mouth? I've contacted the Health Department and am contacting a lawyer. Other reviews also mention bugs and filth, and I can't believe the place has stayed open this long. Spotsylvania county needs to step in. They seem not to care about guests or how they're treated.

The location might give the wrong impression, but the hotel is very accommodating. Debbie at the front desk is the nicest person I've met there, and all the staff are thoughtful 😊
